Shouldn't throw stones...

So as a basic précis of the situation, the customer sourced and built their own vehicle with their own purchased tuning components and just bought a straight stage 3 map from the comapny in question (which is IPD in the USA) and has nowt to do with Don in the UK other than the maps are done by MTE. After they built the car they then rang to say they had a possible problem then never rang back till they toasted their engine.

Entirely different to the situation that Don has referred to.

Anyone who took the time to read all 6 pages of the thread on Volvospeed would recognise that and realise that all Don had to do with the situation was to offer some advice to the original poster. However reading Dons post in isolation (as the ponce has clearly intended) you could be mistaken for thinking that it's a problem of his when it clearly has nothing to do with him.

Yet another Hamish pattern, Another nasty pop at Don rolleyes

I am not Hamish by the way. But I do know Hamish well, and he happens to be highly respected in the tuning community. He's also got the sense not to come onto this forum and get involved in this rubbish, something which should be commended and respected.

It's very easy for some people to hide behind a computer and make all sorts of accusations about individuals. So on this note I have decided not to post on this forum anymore and spend some quality time back in the real world where people are people. Bye.
Rumbled!

For those interested in spending money on having their ECU's modified for power and torque increases it is well worth a look in at a recently opened Volvo interest site www.t5d5.org where the proprietors are making great headway in allowing freedom of speech with regard to their partcipants experiences with some so called 'volvotuners'

Interesting that some UK sites limit or ban such contributions because they are either on the web solely to support the businesses of certain individuals or they have been influenced by bullying threats from traders threatening legal remedies for possible loss of income etc.

Yes indeed its a very interesting read. Seems like lots of things which have been covered up on account of the threats / bullying tactics of some within the Volvo Tuning scene are finally being revealed by the customers involved, who appear to have spent thousands of pounds with little to show for it:

And it only gets worse!

Volvo Tuning (aka Chiptuning Ltd) are clearly not the experts they (and the vpcuk forum) made themselves out to be

Finally the curtain falls on the Bromsgrove comedy tuning pantomime.

I sense many spanners being thrown. and cars dented! Oh to be a fly on the wall.

Chip Tuning Ltd are no longer UK distributor for RICA ECU software.
