V50 T5 Brake Pads

Need to replace my front and rear pads, I have ordered the pads online and was going to replace them myself as Volvo quoted £300+ to do it. Has anyone done this themselves?? I have done it on older cars in the past and was hoping things haven't changed that much but any advise is greatly welcomed.

I'd be interested in this too. My Volvo dealer wanted over £300 in parts alone at the last service (25k). I declined their offer to do the work. I suspect the pads will last quite a bit longer, even up to the next service, but our company mechanic seems to think he will be able to do it.
