I have a decent one,

It's an Ex tactical firearms unit v70 T5 the doors seem heavy I think they may be bullet proof!

I have chipped it with a BSR PPC this means your to chip the car and unchip at you convenience by plugging in a unit, I've also had 167 out of her as the rev limiter has been removed.

Kicking out around 300BHP, its a manual tranny and it much faster as a result, it still has the silver tint on the windows roof has been resprayed so it looks fine, the gun box has been removed I can supply pics if you're interested.

JVC radio with the 6 speekers, brand new tyers about 3 weeks old, you can see from the log book its new from Manchester TFU.

It's had new front suspention arms and dampers only done 64,000 and funny thing is every one moves out the way on the M1 to let me pass!
I have an S60 T5 but and am finding running 2 cars costley.

Because of the cash I spent on it I couldent let it go unless I got at least £8,000 for it which for the miles is good and yes its 2001 but its only ever been called out on jobs it's not had big motorway miles.

Well I hope you have good luck anyway, if your interested give me bell on 07725 654 170.

Greg!

For sure they do, but if you buy it make sure when you press the magic button don’t open the door or do anything, sit still until its done its magic. I've been told if you so much as fart when this things uploading things can go very wrong, your likely to end up n the other side of the universe, or something.

On your car, if you final output is about 220Bhp after chip, it will kick you up the ass a bit like my standard Ex police S60 (which I'm thinking of chipping) which is 250Bhp + or -, mind you that’s 250Bhp on a decent crisp night.

I can creep up on a Z4 2.5 which is 0-60 mph in a 6.4 and that’s after 147,000 billion miles I don't like to try and do 0-60 as with the wheel spin and crappy stick on units you can buy might give you any old 0-60 so you'd want to do 3 and work out an average if you have one of these silly things.

As for my V70 I pull away nicely from a Subaru in the V70 at 299BHP + or - on a hot day on a cold night I've got much more delivery of power after this chip for sure, It feels faster then my S60 after the kick in, but then also my cars had things done to it by the fuzz before I chipped it.

So its possible it’s doing 0-60 in about 6.2? I don't know for sure I'd need to get a 0-60 plug in doobrey, standard I felt like I was doing 0-60 in a hearse, so yes I’m 120% happy with my BSR PPC and their not even paying me to say it.

One thing though, unless you drive like a priest expect your mileage to go down rather then up, yes I know if you drive about with out going over 3,000 you might save a bit of petrol, but please tell me someone who doesn’t just want to slam it down a gear in order to experiment with time travel on their journey if only it was to the local shops.

Ok you want proof? Ok I'm a bit lead footed but my clinic runs from Chelsea to Yorkshire normally cost about £32 + or - a few bob, now chipped the journey costs me about £43 down to the red as apposed to about just under half way on my fuel gauge.

But as I claim 40p per mile I couldn’t give a tinkers cuss, but this might suprise you if you weren’t expecting it.

If you can drive well and you do long distance journeys its well worth it, you'll be faster then 90% cars you will come across. (That last bit sounded a bit odd)

Police t-5, well i had a t5 before,256bhp model, but auto, and i got 6.5 for 0-60mph in it, yours must surely go a bit faster, i had 225 wheels on the t-5 and it could slide in a straight line, and that thing flew but i only was getting 25mpg average , this new one is diesel and although its fast and wider tyres, better grip, i want to improve it, as in the t5 it was pretty rapid and want to get more of that power but still have ok mpg. i heard about these chips, and i checked out the website and its a good website, but not sure how it would affect the engine as i done 76k in it already, also is the claimed output for the car realistic, it says on d5 that it gets to 236bhp..thats 50 more!

the best thing about having a volvo s60 though is that so many people think you are BIB, its pretty funny, i am amazed how many people stop and pull over for me. why?? i drive behind a car and they just stop and pull over. the volvo is faster than most cars on the road as not many want to overtake one esp at night.

I'm sure it is but I don't want to come on here high and mighty and bullshit you with wrong figures.

I really need to test it some how, but for the year 2001 it was a 2.3 not 2.4 inline five equipped with a high-pressure intercooled turbocharger.

When gears are rowed manually using the standard five-speed stick, 60 mph comes up in 6.7 ish on the estate, and you'll have to take my word for the fact the doors are like lead on mine.

The S60 doors open with ease, but these things on the V70 weigh what feels like about 4 stone each they swing open slow lol, in the police brochure for the car there a rozzer squatting down behind the door with his gun resting on the door frame.

It wasn't a patch on my S60 before the chipping now it feels 20 Bhp faster then the S60 not from low end pick up but as soon as the turbo spins, its unlimited too so you can get more from it.

I'd like to think it’s south of 6.2 but I can't tell I need a gismo for the 0-60 do u know of anything I can use? Or do u use a stopwatch/girl friend then subtract her weight?

I will say though at night she's untouchable I'm thinking of fooling the air mass that is cold night by using a plug in thinggy from ebay, but that might over fuel it.

But like you say everyone pulls over non stop all the way home which is great, they would do this also with my white Ex police V8 Discovery, but it can be a bit alarming when your belting around a tight curve and everything in front slaps the breaks on.

Most people back of a challenge to which is a bit disappointing unless your at the lights and they can here metallica coming out the speakers, the chip limits the first gear stops wheel spin but here after power comes on.

I don't think you’ve done enough miles to worry about engine failure, and frankly what’s the worst that can happen? U need a new engine from a scrappy for 400 quid, all were doing it chipping them not like the old days of polishing crap, porting this and camming that, and its an engine which is over engineered any rate.

Run it in to the deck, life’s too short.

Yer loads,

http://motors.search.ebay.co.uk/engin

ebay is where to look, I've seen them go for less then that too, sure there a bit mucked up, but once you wipe the blood off and pop it in you'll be laughing all the way to the bank or infirmary depending on how you fit it.

Service? hmm I remember that word.
