Hi after cleaning my car today i have noticed a long small scratch on the offside rear side of my car. It hasnt gone through the paint I am just wondering how best to remove it. I bought this Volvo black scratch paint for my previous T5 s60 and basically cocked it up making it worse than before..does anyone know a good easy to use scratch remover?

thanks
k

Megiars (SP?) Scratch remover stuff. Works a treat and a gentle alternative to T-Cut. Works well and has the added benefit of removing swirl marks too. Needs some serious elbow grease, but if you put in the work then the rewards are good.

Halfrauds are OK as they should stock it (it is where I bought mine). But suggest a web search and see if you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Running water over the scratch is a good test to see how deep it is. If it virtually disappears under water then the scratch is in the lacquer layer and will polish out easily.

Always go carefully though, if you go through it will require a professional paint repair.
