S60 R My new toy

Hello Digger,
Very fine car, but if you have any warranty left on it, go over it with a fine tooth combe as the earlier ones can be very costly to maintain. One of my customers has recently bought a V70R with 3 or 4 months outstanding warranty and has had arround £4000 worth of essential remedial work done....
No problems if you bought from a dealer or trader with some additional warranty insurance.
Regards, Don.Norchi.

Do not know weather to get rid of the V40 T4 now or to keep it.

i am likewise about the colour , though almost all R's i have seen have been painted brightly, prefer red to the turquoise greeny blue one, though would definitely stick to black. what mpg do you get out of it|?
Shall we say that this weekend it was very low...
The wife will be using it during week so i recon around 22-25 mpg. Going to keep the T4 for a while yet to have my own weekend fun lol.
Good arent they, only one problem though! Drove back from Leeds Sunday to near Brum and when I got home I didnt want to get out of the car and go into my house as I felt so relaxed cruising along in comfort mode on the motorway in those Sofa-esque chairs and listening to that quality Stereo.
I think Volvo took all the bad points from the M3 (Bad image/traction at limit/lack of space), S4/RS4 (luxury/performance at v high price), Evo (cheap interior/chav image) & R32 (bad ride) and made them plus points in the S60R added some extra safety and then took 80% of all the plus points from those cars M3 (Pace), S4/RS4 (luxury), Evo (trick 4WD/AWD) and R32 (fun in short bursts) and then combined these with the switchable chasis controls to give the ultimate compromise car which of course the likes of Clarkson would hate but that just makes it cheaper for sensible people to buy.
Plus no-one knows what it is until its too late and they have seen it vanish.
Converted old man, bring on retirement.
