Ok Im off again....
My mother-in-law just put her V70 in for a routine service.Due to my previous experience with Volvo I told her to be careful.
She phoned me 3 hours later to say that they told her that they had changed the brake discs as they were worn(exactly the same one they tried to pull on me funnily enough).
I told her to ask them to put the old ones in the car for independant inspection.
Strangely enough they called her back to say they had...wait for it...SENT THEM TO VOLVO TO HAVE THEM LOOKED AT (???!!!) so couldnt give her the old ones back, and they were amending her bill with the cost of the new ones removed.
How many (old) people do these dealerships prey on I wonder

Strange - dealers usually have an old pair of disks to give to customers who ask.
