V70 2.4t Xt?

I may be posting on a part of the forum that will be biased to the Volvo but here goes...

I'm looking for a tow car but the R/T5 is too costly in the insurance stakes, still on the prowl, I spotted a V70 2.4T XT – firstly, is this a good lump? And secondly, with a remap, what can be achieved power wise?

Insurance grp 14 is the biggest attraction.

As far as I know, there's not a huge amount extra available (over the standard ~200bhp) from the 2.4T lump via a simple remap.

RICA claim 235bhp but with a useful hike in torque, which may well be what you're really after anyway.

Many thanks, a remap would suit me, 235bhp would be great. A turbo timer will be a worth while investment too.

It's either a V70 or P38 Range 2.5 derv... decisions, decisions.
