Hi, just thought I warn fellow Ph's that this car for sale on ebay *could* be a potential scam.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl

For a start he's used a picture of my bl@@dy car! I can never understand why people who sell things on ebay think they will sell without a picture of *their* item. It always seems a bit fishy to me.
Even though he does state that the car shown in the ad isn't the one for sale, but he has pictures he can email you if your interested? hmmmn.... scratchchin

Few other things as far as I know the MY99-2000 R AWD cars (in Laser blue etc..) have 265bhp engines, not 250bhp and the inlays around the dashboard/centre console are in silver anodised effect, not "dark walnut".

Anyway hope I'm wrong but wouldn't want anyone to get their fingers burnt.
Oh, and Happy New Year!

I bought one of these from Marshalls of Slough in 2000 for £33K (w reg)for what I was led to believe was a new car, laser blue, sat nav on 17"alloys,backed after 1 week when I found out through DVLA it was a grey import being sold at a Volvo main dealer as a new car. The salesman instantly got the push and eventually they lost their dealership as I knew the FD of Volvo and happened t mention it to her.
