T5 Engine sizes, confused bloke here....

Hi folks,
Mrs Silverback is back in a volvo for a bit, it's a V70 T5. Now I know they go like hot snot as I have driven my work t5's but I always thought they were a 2.3, however my hpi check shows it's a 2.0
I'm off a googling for an answer but thought I would ask you volvo boys initially.

Hi Jason, here it is....bit of a busmans holiday really, taken as a replacement for a clocked car I bought from a dealer, who I was taking to court. It has uprated brakes, shocks and has had some skulduggery under the bonnet. I have driven quite a few of these, but this one is a right lairy bugger.
I'm not sure we will keep it long, I really like S and V70's especially the t5 but as it's white I think it will have to go so will look for another colour soon.
If you could spare the badges I would be very gratefull, anything to make it look less like a police car would be handy!!
If anyone wants an cheap ex traffic / driving school bonkers T5 feel free to take it off my hands - I'll go for another one in a more subdued hue.....damn comfy cars though aren't they?

Too right! I can honestly say that I've never driven a more comfortable car than our '01 V70.
P.S. Mike in "not keeping car very long shock". Not
In fairness, I knew I didn't want to keep this one long, it was basically me making sure I had my moneys worth out of a slimy car dealer. Which in fairness to him, he did....and a 6 month warranty and 6 months tax.
If you visit a local Volvo dealer with the reg. number and VIN they will be able to give you a printout of its build and the full service record (of those done at dealers).

Just an update if anyone is interested
All the shenanigans have been sorted out now, the car dealer has settled (again ) with an S80 2.4se which I have to admit is a lovely car, very comfortable (suede and leather seats - the most comfortable I've ever sat in) It's a goldy silvery type colour which seems to change when looking at it from different angles.
So, a bit of perseverance paid off, phew.
