Very rough idle in 740 from cold

B230E engine. Needs some throttle to start it, and keep it going. Sorts itself out within a minute or two. Pretty consistent. Probable causes?

hi posible cause is leaking injector seals drawing air past injectors also worth cleaning out carbon from throttle butterfly,hope this helps

Find me one that doesn't do this at least occaisionally.

I find with mine if i hold the revs at 2k for about 10 secs after start up its fine.

Thisn I'll do the injector seals soon though

Same here, and then all is fine Mine flew through the MOT in June with hardly any emmisions or anything! Very impressive.
