Following on from the thread about the ugly new SUV from Alfa Romeo... when I look at modern SUV designs I can't help noticing a massive slab of extra bodywork added to the middle.
It looks quite a lot like the actual car Volvo made, the XC90.
My point is nearly all of those SUVs we're seeing now have that big slab of extra bodywork between the door handles and the rubbing strips and it looks ridiculous. Maybe it's room for batteries?
