Xc 90 handbrake release cable

Snapped the handbrake release cable on my 2006 xc90 - I just can’t seem to find a replacement anywhere - it’s just a basic cable ( a bit like a motorcycle clutch cable ) you activate the parking brake by foot, then release it by pulling the hand lever - this cable has snapped. I even have the part number - 8649678 - I just can’t find one anywhere! Anyone got any idea where I can get one ? Any help much appreciated as I need to get this done before m o t time . .

Thanks for taking the time to help me guys.
I eventually managed to get the part number and my local Volvo dealer has ordered one - I can’t believe how hard it was in the age of the internet but it’s sorted now.

I worked out that it broke because the mechanism has rusted prob due to blocked drain holes underneath the windscreen wipers - wet floor / glove box etc etc
