Battery in my 2012 V60 has been failing for a while, manifested first by failure of the Start / Stop system.

I had ordered a replacement battery, on the day of arrival the car threw up an ABS / DCTS error. I assumed this was due to the failing battery. Fitted a new battery and hoped it would clear itself.

Sadly it hasn't and now the City Safe has a malfunction. Sounds like one of the ABS sensors may have failed. Should I have reset any battery monitor systems or is it likely that the ABS fault is coincidence?

ABS sensors are common parts to fail - they are Ford parts
I would suggest getting the codes read by a specialist to work out which one has failed

Watching this with interest....

I had an ABS / Stability Control warning light come on, which also disabled the hill start brake holding thing. Plugged in, was a sensor on the N/S rear wheel, all done and fine now. £160 at an independent

City Safety light has come on, can't be related can it ?

Just to complete the thread it was a sensor failure.

All sorted and no warning lights.
