Volvo accident assistance
Discussion
We bought an approved used xc60. It came with all sorts of leaflets in the buyers pack
One of those was an invitation to use the Volvo accident assistance scheme.
Two highlights they pay the excess.
They guarantee the repair is to standard and use factory parts.
My experience has been that the excess payment is hidden behind the term's and conditions looking like not paying.
It's taken 6 months to approve the repair because the Volvo claims handlers fell out with my insurance company along with supply chain issues.
In the Volvo showroom the imagery is fiords, woollen wholesome clothes and satisfied looking nice Scandinavians.
In the accident shop, I'm feeling mean Chinamen and dusty regional service agents that would be happier fixing old tractors.
Am I just having a rare bad experience?
