XC90 sunshade repair/high mileage reliability
Discussion
I've got a 2019 XC90 and the rollerblind that covers the sunroof has developed a small tear in it. Does anyone know what the cost is to replace it? I'm bracing myself a bit.
This car has been leased and I am considering buying out the lease outright now and keeping it. It's done 60k miles and still runs great. Has anyone else with higher mileage cars had any major problems to be aware of?

Just hit 150K and going strong. Just did the cam belt with all Volvo parts. Doing the maintenance as required is the key, I think. In addition, don't use knock-off parts. You will pay for it in the long run.
Brilliant, I have bought mine now out of the PCP lease for 23k, done 60k miles. I have bought a warranty separately and have had the car serviced by Volvo throughout, on time.Murph7355 said:
Did you get the sunshade fixed?
Not yet. Got a quote from an Indy was about £650 inc vat. The hole is tiny and with the shade retracted it’s not visible. The car needs a proper valet though. It’s pretty hard used by my young family! Maybe when I’ve got a bit more cash! 😃968 said:

Sadly page doesn’t exist. The Indy I found was in St Leonard’s on Sea. The car is a great utility car, does everything, can carry massive loads or 7 people, it’s comfortable and well equipped and (so far) has been completely reliable. Yeah it’s boring to drive but hey with traffic/potholes/crappy weather/speed traps, who gets a chance to really enjoy fun cars?
We have just stuck a deposit down on a used one.
2018 D5 Momentum with all the packs added to it so very well spec'ed. Pretty low mileage as well at 27,000. We are buying it from a Volvo main dealer so we decided to stick 5k on finance to get the extra year warranty and 2 years free servicing and MoT's :-)
Having to wait for a towbar to be fitted as they are on back order so we pick it up 1st June. Only downside is its black (I fancied blue or green) but hey ho.
