S90 boot lock actuator not engaging

Recently replaced faulty boot lid switch and noticed the boot lock will not engage if I close boot via button.

I’ve changed the boot lock and actuator but this hasn’t fixed the issue. If I manually close the boot the lock engages.

Does anyone know if adjusting the bump stops higher would make a difference? Or is there anything I need to do to reset the system?
