I've had this XC60 D5 AWD for a couple of months and overall love it. 65k on the clock.

but it's developed an intermittent squeak, possibly from the right hand rear seat / wheelwell. Sometimes it's not there.

Occasionally it'll do it when there's more weight on the back right, but not always.
Doesn't seem to do it when stationery and bouncing any corner, or rocking the car.
Sometimes it'll do it over rough surfaces, but then you can drive back over it 5 minutes later and it won't.
Sometimes it'll be a single squeak, other times it'll squeak for almost minute at a time.

it sounds a bit like panpipes, if they were rusty (and yes, I know panpipes don't rust) as it's not always present it's hard to identify where it's coming from, and getting a garage to replicate it, never mind identify it could be tricky.

Any suggestions of what it might be? (trailing arm bushes has been one suggestion)

OR
any recommendations of central Scotland garages that might accurately diagnose? I don't want to put it in for an expensive job that solves nothing.

(or that doesn't get done at all, Arnold)

Unfortunately things like this can be really difficult to find as it is so hard to replicate.

I would be getting under the car & with hands on each suspension joint at a time trying to rock the car on its suspension to see if there is any stiffness/slack, but even then you may well find nothing.

Most likely candidates would be bushes on the various suspension components, which unfortunately doesn't narrow it down much, sorry.

This is my suspicion, so thought I'd ask here just in case it's something that is known to others. Thanks all the same.
