Screen becomes brighter

Hi,

For some reason the screen for the stereo and the display behind the steering wheel becomes brighter around 7.59 am. Any ideas as to what is going on? The radio did have a message which said something about pressing exit but as I was in traffic with heavy rain could not pay it much attention. Thanks in advance.

Night and day settings.
At night the screen is automatically dimmed so you’re not distracted by it.
As the natural light increases so does the brightness of the screen so you can see it clearly.

Did you not get a handbook with your car?
You’ve posted a few questions about your car now which are all answered in the user manual. ( Well at least in the handbook for my cars)

Thanks though the book is long and wasn't so sure which search words to use. I wonder if we can turn it off then? Is that what the exit message is for?
