V50 2011 key

I know I can just ring Volvo for a replacement but does anyone have an idea how much a genuine fully functioning "plastic blade" type key would be, or if there is a way of "programming" an ebay replacement?

I suspect genuine is the only way from what I have heard so far.

From the shape of them alone I would say volvo only and be prepared to give them several hundered for the new key.
