Power button S80 2010

What happens if I accidentally hit the start stop button whilst the car is driving? Does it stop the engine? If I were to accidentally do that and it did stop, do I lightly touch the brakes and then press it again? I know that's a weird question but I was playing with the direction of the fan vent and the thought crossed my mind.
