2009 XC60 wing mirror

Hi all,
I'm wondering if you can help.....my elderly father has clipped his passenger side wing mirror. The glass and mechanism are ok but the rear casing and indicator light/bulb are smashed.

Apart from Volvo, is there anywhere that he might source a replacement. Nothing appears on eBay etc.. I've looked in all the usual places. Thanks

Unlikely you'll get aftermarket so it'll be a case of waiting, watching and hoping a used one crops up but likely it'll be a complete unit. Have you priced the parts from Volvo? Some stuff is surprisingly cheap... like a V70R front lower grill that was in eBay for £50 used yet about £20 new from the dealer. I'd check with them first.

did the same in my 2020 v60 - new case and indicator light as glass and motor were fine - unsourceable anywhere but main dealer - almost £200 for a couple of bits of plastic !!!! took 5 days to appear but at least they come in the appropriate colour and no respraying required - 2 screws to attach the indicator and the case snaps in to place so easy fix
