V60 NOT V50 AS IN TITLE!

Only noticed this last night when following my partner as she was driving the Volvo. When she pulled away or accelerated, there was a small puff of smoke from the exhausts, only a really small puff, wouldn't be noticeable to the driver in the car as it was way too small an amount, but I noticed it following the car nonetheless.

Is this normal? The car has done 153k miles. No DPF light on, not noticed any regen issues (I'm yet to notice a regen honestly)

I was going to ignore it, but thought I'd at least ask.

Thanks

Edit - I've never noticed it before as I've never really paid attention, but it's just because I saw it once that I really focussed on it. A small clearish in colour puff.
I suppose I should check myself after she has driven home in it later!

I hadn't noticed anything on the bulk of the drive home, it wasn't until the end of the drive that I noticed, at a point where she wasn't accelerating hard or anything, the car was travelling at about 10mph. Strange.

When was the last time the fuel filter changed? A clogged or old one could start this, always good to replace anyway every 20/30k, not sure they are on regular service intervals which I think is mad as diesel is dirty!!!

Just done my V60 D3's filter, does feel like it's running better...but probably the placebo effect.

Always remember, my mechanic cut one open to show me, vs the new one I was installing, utter filth!

Anyway, what color was the smoke, it if was such a small amount I wouldn't be too overly worried, could be just a slight build up or the DPF decided to clean itself, how often does the car go out for a proper motorway blast.

I only got the car in July, so without checking the history, I'm not sure. It was serviced with Volvo every year, so who knows if it has been done. If not, i'll change it when I get it back from getting the clutch done.

It was a clearish, slightly white colour. Much the same as when you start on a cold morning and condensation blows out, but a lot, lot less. I haven't actually noticed it since. It was the same sort of amount as steam from a fresh hot drink i'd say.
Doesn't go for too many long runs, but it has been for a 2 hour round trip in the past week.

As you say, I'm not particularly worried. Just thought I better ask in case anyone else had noticed anything either. My partner uses it most of the time, so I don't tend to get a chance to check much, but I'll put it down to condensation or a regen or something for now!
