Hello there
I am looking at a 2008 c30 r design se Manual petrol as a work car. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience of comfort, refinement, mpg and common faults. It seems a good daily commuter and well priced
Thanks in advance

Ours wasn't a 2.0l . But loved our C30. Comfortable well built and drove really well. Boot wasn't massive and only 4 seats. But would consider another if we didn't need the boot room.. Servicing is cheap enough as a lot of stuff is same as Ford.

2.0 petrol is the cabin driven unit shared with the fiesta ST (150bhp). Sounds like a solid option.

As said the 2.0 is a chain driven Ford/Mazda unit thats been around for sometime.
It can start to use a little oil so keep an eye on the level as you DO NOT want to run it low as the bottom end will start to rumble.
Aside from that they are reliable engines that provide adequate pace.
