Very odd problem with Volvo remote start on my S90

Hi chaps/chapesses

Very odd issue, app on my old Android phone worked fine, used remote start all the time to warm the car up on a cold day, worked great.

Got a new android phone installed app, but now when I remote start the car it starts up then switches itself off after about 3/5 mins. Not the full 10 min like the old phone.

Really doing my head in, app is up to date phone is up to date all settings checked.

Anyone had similar?

Yes! My S60 (2019) does this too. Not sure why. Just had back from a service and now it seems to be working correctly. Nothing mentioned to or by dealer. Odd situation. I'm using Apple.

On mine you can change the run duration - when the app updates I think it defaults to 5 mins, you should be able to set to a maximum of 15 mins

Bloody hell you're right! Never had that option pre updated app, thanks a million.

For anyone else: when using the app I've always slid my finder to the left and started the car, what I didn't know is that if you tap on the symbols on the left another settings page opens up.
