Volvo 850 T5r parts
Discussion
Trying my best to keep 1996 T5r on the road but having trouble getting parts from volvo dealers. Anyone got a lead to anyone who may have bought up spares for these older cars. Getting desperate. Little things like brake pressure sensor and throttle cable. I cant believe I'm going to end up scrapping a car I have loved from new and spent money on will be put off the road for the sake of a small part. Desperate for any help please

Was aware if them and have used them for clutch cables for my bike. Will use as last resort but was hoping to find replacement and handy realised I would have do much difficulty until recently. All car Marc's usually end up having all the old parts bought up and become the go to supplier and k know t5r was a limited quantity but cang believe ALL SPARES are no longer available- someone somewhere must know where they have all gone - well let's hope so anyway. Even if volvo have a giant warehouse locked up in sweden
I run a Volvo Amazon as my only car/daily driver, and my missus drives a 1999 V70... so I know a bit about obtaining old Volvo parts!
I use Skandix in Germany a fair bit… delivery normally takes under 4 working days

CVI are pretty good

Nordicar (in Holland) are OK but can be pricey

Brookhouse in the UK might be able to help you… if they can’t, they will know someone who will!

Volvo do indeed have stocks of parts for older cars. Any main dealer should have access to the lists but the go-to one recommended is FRF Bristol.
Use the link posted above for the Volvo Owners Club. They have many owners of 850 T5Rs and know the differences between these and the more standard versions, and if they don't know where to find parts then nobody does.

Do you have any more details about FRF as all I can find is a vauxhall dealer in swansea
