Odds and sods

[850Sleeper]

I'm about to purchase my second 850, moving up from a bit of a shed of 2.5 10V to a T5 barge which has been lovingly looked after all it's life.
There is one small issue i'm hoping to pick your brains about. From cold there's a whine from the engine that disappears after a few mins.The little research i did suggests the cambelt, which is on my immediate to do list anyway, but i wondered if anyone had any other thoughts.
