Does any one on here own or owned one of the 2.4 diesel D6 Volvo V60 hybrids?

Im looking to find out what the real world battery mileage is during winter and whether you would realistically see nearly 30miles on a charge?

And what the general performance is like on the D6 model as it has almost 300hp

I am disappointed to see no comment from owners here, as I am very interested in getting one of these some time this year.

May I ask whether you took the plunge?

The only thing putting me off getting one, would be the reliability of the hybrid system/ e.g. battery life. But as you say, the performance seems amazing, and its the only awd model (not cross country) according to auto trader.

Afternoon, my Dad (70 years old with a light right foot) runs a D6 V60:

On a cold day he can drive 18 miles on pure electric, during the summer it’s more like 25-26.

Long term mpg average over the last 30k or so (car now on 75k) has been low 70’s, but that includes fairly regular runs of 150+ miles.

I’d say those kind of figures are best case scenario as he doesn’t drive it fast at all.

As for performance, the few times I’ve driven it I’ve found it to be plenty quick in a straight line.

Any more questions I’ll happily try and find the answer

I sold about 6 or so when I worked at Volvo
Easy 20 plus mile range, also a diesel so you will get 40+mpg when not on battery.

Good car as well, Get a R design if you can.

I ran one for 3 years as a company car. Didn't bother charging it, average of 44mpg over 45,000miles.

good motorway car, nice seats.

when i first ran it, fully charging, would give 18 miles in winter, 23 in summer, thats why I stopped bothering.
