Volvo S40 T5 K16 Hybrid

Hi Guys,

Just saying hello. Just joined the forum here, look to get to meet other car people and go to meets and stuff next year.

I have a 2009 S40 T5 with a K16 hybrid stage 3.

The car has gone through a mass of work this year in order to get that turbo bolted on and running, spec list below:

Car is running fine but due an oil change soon, so might try and get the mapping completed along with an oil change by BD Performance as they did an incredibe job on the engine build.

As a small addition, just doing the customod vac pipe upgrade done by the ST's and RS's (In blue)

I know another S40 T5 K16 had this installed and reported solving a few issues so hoping it might make for a smoother acceleration.

Probably looking for a good set of pads to get in soon ready for the track days to come to see how this handles and also what it can put down on the 1/4 at Santapod.

A standard run at the pod gave is a 17.0 best (230bhp)
With a remap, exhust and k&n filter (and a few other addons) gave a 14.5 best (300bhp)

So with the bigger turbo I will be really annoyed if I dont make it into the 13's, not sure the power the car is putting down yet as mapping isnt 100% complete but a mates S40 T5 with a K16 got mapped with a printout of 399 bhp, so seeing mine is a K16 stage 3 hybrid ... possibly hoping for more?
