New Volvo V60 D3 or D4

The time has come to exchange our faithful XC90 for something smaller and more modern. Going to retire soon and going to buy a new Volvo V60 or one with a few miles and pre-registered. Not sure which to go for D3 or D4?

Well got a drive in both - the D3 at the local dealers and a year old D4 at an independent garage near me with 11000 miles. Don't see a huge difference for day to day driving on country road but the D4 wins by a mile on dual carriage way/ 50-80 mph burst. Will see what the best deal and spec is and go from there.
