Filter...how do i get to it?

I have a 1999 V70, I recently had to have the windscreen replaced.....the guy had to remove the plastic scuttle at the bottom of the windscreen, to remove it.

there was on the near side just under it a paper filter.....is it the pollen filter?....and how do you normally replace it?

Yes, it is the pollen filter.

To replace: remove both windscreen wiper arms, then the plastic scuttle panel. Replace filter and reassembly is the reverse of removal. That is the reason so many filters do not get changed.
