Hi,

Got a Volvo XC90 MY 2012 recently and the built-in Sat Nav could do with updating. How can I tell which Nav system the car has as there seems to be multiple versions MMM MMM+ which I find confusing.

Am I right that the Sat Nav HDD is under the passenger seat? Where would be the best place to source updated disks?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks, I've already seen that link and when I click on it I just get the icon going round and round, never returns anything. My query was more to do with how I can find out which version of disk I need to buy.

I try to avoid using the sat nav at all times now as it never really takes you to the right place.

I live in a town on the east side of a north-south motorway. There's a direct slip road onto the southbound carriageway and a flyover then roundabout to take you to the northbound one. If I set a destination to the north, the sat nav always directs you to head southbound then U-turn on the motorway to head north (through a closed gap). Even when you're on the roundabout at the top of the northbound slip it's telling you to head back over the flyover and head south!

I bought a MMM+ disc from ebay recently for my 2011 XC90. Bound to work on yours, too.

The system's quirky, no doubt. I wasn't sure but then we found Theresa May in the voice options and she's been telling me where to go for the last 2 weeks and 2,500 miles. Love it! Her voice actually cracks with emotion when you reach a péage.
