Volvo App not working

Hi all,
First time Volvo owner here, got V60 D4 for the past week as a company car.
So far, great little thing, not as nimble as previous cars but very comfy and campable.
I’m trying to use the app with no luck, registered, entered the v5 but not getting the email confirmation to take me to the next step. Any ideas ( double check email address and checked junk folder already)?
