Volvo World Record Attempt

Hi all.
I just wondered if anyone else was attending this meet.
Plenty of folks from the UK and abroad appear to be going.
I will be there with my V70, C70 and and friends with C30 t5 and another V70 ( so far).

I have no connection with the event but We are looking forward to a day out !!

Read about this and thought it would be fun to join in, so told wife I was taking her somewhere unusual that weekend.Not twigged yet!

As an Ex Volvo owner I'm going to show support (gutted I don't have one anymore!)

Well, It was a fantastic day with folks from all over the UK, Europe and further afield !!
Guinness World Records could take up to 8 weeks to verify the record.
There were however, over 2000 cars in attendance and if correctly calculated, 1438 Volvos on track under their own power for the measured distance !!!!

If verified ..... WE SMASHED THE RECORD

What a result! That's a lot of cars to get out on one track!

Final figure was 1574 I think. They just kept coming and coming! Great day out and really well organised considering the (unknown) scale of it.

Yep . 1574
However, there were a few numbers replicated !
Only a few more weeks until it is verified, ( hopefully ).
