Quick question chaps. I was just washing my XC60 and the doors were locking and unlocking every 30 seconds! Every time I touched the door handle it unlocked, then after a short while it would lock again rinse and repeat. How do I just get it to stay open? Also, while I'm at it, how do you get the windscreen wipers in "up" mode? I could lift them to wash underneath because they are neatly parked under the bonnet lid... Modern cars are great but seems i need an instruction book on how to wash it! hehe

1. Move key further away.
2. Ignition on wiper on. Ignition off while in mid wipe.

Lost the manuel already!

Activating/deactivating service mode
Service mode can be activated/deactivated when the car is stationary and the windscreen wipers
are not on. Service mode is activated/deactivated via the function view in the centre display:
Press the Wiper Service
Position button.
The light indicator in the button illuminates when the service position is activated. Upon activation, the
wipers move to standing straight up. To deactivate the service mode, press Wiper Service Position
again.
The light indicator in the button extinguishes when the service position is deactivated.

That's perfect thanks, beer re. the manual, I tried reading on day one but couldn't remember all the stuff in it.

Leave the key in the centre console and it won’t lock/unlock itself as the keys inside the car
