New XC60 Momentum - Keyless? Fob in dash?

Just ordered a new XC60, went for the basic spec Momentum, but can't find out how you actually start the car (naturally I didn't undertake a test drive first.

Do you have stick the fob into the dash or can I just have it about my person? Small, first world problem I know, but genuinely curious.

It just needs to be in your pocket or in the car. I normally leave mine in door pocket thing. Or if I'm going to work it stays in my laptop bag.
