XC90 Hands Free Phone Fault - Help Requested

Good Morning Folks,

I normally connect my iPhone to my XC90 via bluetooth and all has worked fine for several years. This is normally achieved by pressing the power button on the right side of the small screen on the central dashboard between the seats. One on, the iPhone then pairs with the car.

This week the phone function won't even turn on to begin the pairing. I have reset the iPhone but cannot get the phone function in the car to power on. Any help greatly appreciated.

The same thing happened to our XC90. Had to take it to a main dealer who upgraded the software that deals with the phone. Think it cost £200plus vat or thereabouts.
They were talking about £1k to replace the whole phone/Bluetooth kit.
