V60 boot space
Discussion
I guess it all depends on the size of your pram, travel cots and amount of luggage you carry..
We have two kids (9 & 11) and a Springer, we only struggle for space on family holidays with ours, when we use a roof box.
The plan shape of the boot is decent, certainly better than my previous '09 Accord Tourer. The rake of the rear window is the main issue.
A V70 might be a better bet size-wise but I preferred the drive of the V60 when I tried both.

I went from a v70 to a v60 and the only size difference is due to the slopping roof.
I have 2 dogs and 2 kids and I manage just fine. Got a roof box for the extended trips.
The boot is fine but yes, it's smaller than the superb, e class and passat and a few others.
As above, I also prefer the v60 rather than the v70.

I can get two large suitcases flat plus a few smaller bags in the boot and still pull the load cover closed over them. Stand the cases up and I can fit more into it.
As been said, the main disadvantage to boot space is the sloping rear profile which eats into overall available space. I find the boot door doesn't go up as high as I'd like either when open and have headbutted the door latch on more than one occasion and it does hurt
Best bet is to take your stuff to a dealer and actually try to fit it in.
