Volvo C30 D5 - Intermittent turbo boost

Hi,

I have bought a Volvo C30 D5 facelift (59Plate) and im having some issues recently with no boost.

Its an intermittent problem sometimes you have turbo other times not, this sounds like it could be the boost control valve.

I found a video on youtube documenting this very well but when I checked the same place on my car there was no valve that looked like the below.




Any ideas ?

Cant find much information on this valve location for this engine.

the turbo pressure on your d5 engine is controlled electronically so you won't find a boost solenoid. It could be the turbo veins getting sticky with carbon build up
