2010 XC70 tailgate release query

How do all.

Tailgate does not release from inside whilst car is in park with engine running, although I`m sure it did before the garage replaced the faulty handle switch on the tailgate.


Should it ? or does the engine have to be off before the tailgate will open from inside.

It should open with the engine running yes. Well, mine does.

Can you double check for me please,and if anyone else has one can you let me know as well thanks.

100% opens when the engine is running and car in park. Tried it last night.
