C70 : Any tips?
Discussion
I'm looking at a Volvo C70 this weekend, as it seems to tick all my boxes.
The model I'm looking at is a 2008 2.4 D5 Sport with 75k on the clock. I've had a look at the MOT history and there's nothing scary there beyond a replaced suspension spring and the usual brake pads and tyre advisories.
Anything in particular I should look out for, apart from roof mechanism operation etc?
TIA

Dampers will be most of the way to the grave by now, it's a heavy car on Ford Focus spec suspension components. Mine was stodgy and getting twitchy at 90K of mostly motorway use. £209 for a set of Bilstein B4s and fitting is easy/cheap though. Absolutely transformed the car, I hadn't realised how buggered they were.
'08 MY onwards sorted out most of the niggling issues, they are very robust and reliable. Personally I only looked for SE Lux spec cars as the Dynaudio stereo is so blindingly good!
