WOW

2nd year service on an XC90 65 plate is almost £400! Oh but that does include this and that filters and oil changes. Oh and a software update. So it should for that cost. Well because of my recent radio issue the software is bang up to date anyway so not like I am getting anything there anyway.

I cannot believe it. Ive never had such an expensive car to service. My M cars have been expensive but I know there they were getting valve clearances, diff oil changes etc but this is just robbery. Together with the shocking insurance it puts me right off the car. Might have to go look at that fancy new 5 series after all

Sounds about right to me, based on my experiences with the old XC90 model.

You wait till you start having to deal with the aftermath of the Orange Triangle of Doom

2yrs of servicing cost me £300 with a deal when I bought the car smile

Agree with the above cf mk1 costs. I guess my expectations of servicing costs are different smile What's considered "normal"?

Second service on anything mainstream is going to be in the £250 range so doesn’t seem mad for heavy metal.
