v50, any 2.0D experts on here?

Hi all, feels like a hesitation at low revs, cars on high miles at 150k drives well other than a slight hesitation at low revs, what should be the first port of call? Are they prone to anything, the car's a 2007 V50 2.0D, feels like a hesitation at low revs
