S90 Dashcam

Hi All,

Just ordered an S90 momentum yesterday.

Hoping to get confirmation tomorrow, for delivery in September/October.

Looking for guidance on a suitable dash cam, as car will be leased.

Any recommendations on a suitable model(s) for front and rear view, assuming can be easily removed in near future when lease comes to an end with no penalties.

I use BlackVue in all three of my cars, and would never own a car without one now. They're tidy, discreet, reliable and are all singing, all dancing. However, the DR650GW-2CH are top end price-wise, but they can handle 128Gb microSD cards and are easy to use and set up. I get a guy to install them for me because I struggle to walk and breathe at the same time, but I've managed to take them out of previous cars very easily. Alternatively, if you're happy just running it off a 12v socket and tucking the wires away, that's easy enough to do too.

The front cam is spot on! The rear cam is good enough for what you need in daylight hours, even with a tinted rear screen, but forget it at night! BlackVue do an IR rear cam upgrade now. Haven't tried it so can't comment.

Plenty of the market all do similar things, so it's worth popping along to Halfrauds for a quick demo of some, or do some research via YouTube. But as far as your original question goes, I think they're easy enough to take out (just follow the wires and unplug).
