Just bought a 2003 XC90 D5.

It's quite a leap of faith to buy an old XC90, but I am cheating slightly - my bro has owned it since he became the second owner in 2010.

After driving it back 110 miles up the M6, I'm really impressed.

Is there a general XC90 owners' thread?

Oh dear, it seems I already have a problem.

I noticed a strange smell when I got home yesterday, and his evening so could smell it again and the rear wheel was very hot!

Looks like I have a binding brake. The handbrake is not working too well either - oh dear.....
