2nd hand v70 auto - what mileage?
Discussion
Hoping someone can advise...
I'm seriously looking at a second hand v70, possibly a post 2008 auto.
Do these have the same issues as earlier autos? (the sealed for life nonsense meaning premature failure etc)
If they do have the same issue how high a mileage car is worth considering before the risks are just too high?
Cheers!

They are not as fragile as the earlier gearboxes, mine is on 156k and no issues. You hardly ever hear of them breaking in cars built since 2007/2008. I think the S80 from 2007 and the V70 from 2008 are probably the most reliable, durable cars I've ever seen. I'm seriously looking at a second hand v70, possibly a post 2008 auto.
