sold my V50 today to http://www.thecarbuyinggroup.co.uk. July 2009 with 127600m owned by me from new. I filled in the online query Tuesday phoned and discussed with them on Weds. Agreed an acceptable price with an over the phone appraisal car was picked up today. Chap came to drive it away after inspection. The agreed price was paid, I was possibly over critical of my own car declaring a hard to spot dent and a few scratches. Price was a couple of hundred more than other online places and trade in from garages. Very little hassle and a swift transaction. Insurance expired on 4 April so couldnt be bothered with the hassle of a private sale.
Car was picked up from my office at Dumfries to be sold at BCA Leeds.
Only negative was that I was told I would get a call the eve before collection with a rough time. This did not happen it happened a couple of hours prior to collection so I was a bit worried they would not turn up.
If anyone sees it for sale at Leeds BCA I would be interested to see how it does.
