V50 electronics oddness

A while back our 2009 V50 showed a 'steering lock service required' fault, which only showed once. Shortly after, the parking sensors started to go wrong intermittently, with a 'Park assist service required' fault. This error always seems to occur when the ignition needs two goes to work.

A reset if fault codes cured it for a few weeks, but now it's started again?

Anyone had this issue? Looking on forums, I don't see anyone mention the ignition when they have a faulty parking sensor.
