Hi guys,
Has anyone taken delivery of their T8 Hybrid yet? I have one(R Design)on order which is due to arrive in March. I've yet to drive the Hybrid and was wondering if anyone on here has had the pleasure/taken delivery?
I have also opted for the air suspension. I have driven the diesel on springs and was after some feedback on what difference, if any, air makes.

Our T8 Inscription is due mid Feb but we will take it March 1st, I too have opted for the air suspension and all of the other options available for the car as i intend to keep it. I understand that any car ordered after Feb 28th and not delivered within 9 months will no longer qualify for the 5k Govt grant so should help offset a little of the depreciation.
I have leased the T8 on the business (3 years), so depreciation is not a factor for me. With a P11D personal benefit of only £1,200 per annum the hybrid was a "no brainer" compared with a £12K P11D for a FFRR. The £5K is very welcome and as you say reduces to £2.5K after 31st March.
I've also ordered the home charger from Charge Master. At £195 with a Gov grant of £700 if ordered before 29th February.
Estimated delivery for us is mid March...fingers crossed.

We've collected our's this week as well, fully optioned inscription in Magic Blue. I have been using it locally, into town and back 9 miles each way and have used no fuel whatsoever, takes about 4 hours to charge from flat off of a 3 pin plug. Its incredibly quiet and refined, only a few days in but delighted with it.

Yes Pod charging people were slow to organise themselves and we missed the cheaper deal because of the change in grant on pods, I ordered car with the 3 point plug with the intention of having the tethered Pod, however have now cancelled the pod as feel there is no need for it, the car only takes about 4 hours to charge from flat to full on the 3 point plug which suits my driving needs as car is only used first thing in the morning and again in the afternoon. By preconditioning the car in the morning it certainly extends the range on the battery, my average in the 150 miles I've done since collecting the car is 112 mpgwow.. that is very impressive. I think I am more like 35mpg, but I did do a good blast along motorway and A roads. for short trips it is fun trying to stay in electric mode. my reason for the pod is my other car lives in the garage, so I need a longer cable to charge the car with... you can't use extension cables as they overheat.

I find putting it into "pure" mode for short journeys and trying to keep the needle in the electric section quite difficult. Must have heavy right foot!
Can anyone help with the sat nav screen? The arrow points in direction of travel but the screen is always north to the top. I'd like it to be in direction of travel too. Tried sat nav settings but can't find this option.
Managed to get the Pod Point installed before deadline and I find it fully charges in around 3 hours.
Overall highly impressed with it. Very comfortable, quiet and good looking.

Hello. I picked mine up on 1st, last week. Mostly pleased with it. I've done 555miles at an average of 24.8mpg. I do my 18 mile (each way) commute on electric and charge at home (PodPoint) and at work.
Long journeys kill the mpg and it will only do about 240miles on the tank. It is easy to keep it in pure during commute, but I have to admit the "full effect" in power mode can be somewhat addictive! She shifts, but don't like the torque steer through front wheels. A combination of power mode and PodPoint not working at home during first week have contributed to the low mpg average to date. During commute I'm getting 108-160mpg now.
Here's mine, surprised not to see any pics posted...

The MPG on the commute is very impressive. Our average consumption (according to Volvo on call app) is 28.1 mpg. I'm not sure if that only measures the use when in petrol mode? We have done 300 miles and used around 7 gallons of fuel, making it more like 43 mpg taking all journeys into account.
Where it is impressive is when the missus uses it on the school run. She takes our youngest to the school bus, return trip of 4 miles. This is all done in pure mode. Re-charge back at home. She picks her up again from school which is a round trip of 32 miles (mostly motorway at 70 mph). She puts it into pure mode. It lasts until the last 5 miles before pure expires and hybrid kicks in. By my maths that equates to using one fifth of a gallon at 28 mpg. 32 afternoon miles plus 4 morning miles with only 5 in petrol mode x 5 (only used 1/5 of a gallon) = 180 mpg!!
I didn't think anyone might be interested in pics. Mine's filthy and due a wash at the weekend, I'll post one then.

I've had mine since October and have tried to find out how to change the Sat Nav direction on the main 12" screen. But I've had no luck, not sure it can be done. Not a big deal as the Sat Nav also appears on the screen behind the steering wheel in the direction of travel so I always tend to look at that and have something else on the main screen.Can anyone help with the sat nav screen?
