Just made a purchase of a 2002 V70 2.4t. A known issue when I bought it was the abs and traction control lights are on. Now I know these abs ecu's are made of cheese so replacement /repair doesn't bother me.
The only thing niggling is its just had new pads and discs all round - but braking from speed causes a noticeable pull to the left.
Am i better off replacing the ecu anyway on the off chance, or is it likely to be a more traditional issue of a wheel sensor or reluctor ring, or even more basic sticky calliper?
Any thoughts?

I'd be checking the callipers especially the rears for seizure and another important area to check is the front wishbone bushes as these are prone to wear and will create a pull if knackered as you effectively will change the geometry of the suspension every time you brake
Be aware that rear callipers can seize when warm but free off when cool so they often missed as seized as they are nearly always cool when checked.
I'd also look at the state of the rear discs and the inside edges of the front discs for serious corrosion.
