Does anyone have any recommendations on a good UK based Volvo forum? There seem to be a lot of them!

Thanks

Hello

There are a few forums and all have a different focus make your own mind up, here they are.
www.t5d5.org a quite forum but very very tried and tested for modifications and tuning and don't fear fools lol
www.vpcuk.org changed a lot over the years and freedom of speech for me feels somewhat restricted
www.volvoforums.org.uk the Volvo owners club very busy site more than just a tuning site loads of information on all models.
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/ very large us based site with lots of UK Pep's on there and probably the home of diy mapping for motronic 4.3 and 4.4

All have good information

The www.volvoforums.org is a real mixed bag. Some of the subforums for certain models are very good, particularly the P2 models. For the C1 based cars though (S40/V50/C30/C70) there are some real idiots, spouting off absolute ill informed nonsense and quarrelling about anything. For example someone had an issue with increased fuel consumption having changed the air filter and plugs and more than one person told him with great authority that it was because the air filter lid was loose so too much air was getting in. Needless to say it was his plug gaps.

Sadly the forum has also has a very large quotient of argumentative "I bin doin' that for FOTTY YEARS boy!" clueless fkwits.

T5D5 is probably the one I've found most helpful.

A nice Volvo forum with a lot of manuals is Volvosweden.se. You can change your languages to UK.
